Unconfirmed media reports on Friday have hinted at match-fixing in the second edition of the IPL.

The sensational allegations, made on TV channels, suggest some senior players had influenced juniors to fix results.

The report said that the fixing racket involves superstars of Indian cricket and an international player, who captains one of the teams. It is also alleged that some team owners are part of the conspiracy.
